The Macallan — Art is the Flower
Project Overview
A bespoke stained glass panel commissioned for the launch of The Macallan's collectible expression inspired by Charles Rennie Mackintosh.
A bespoke stained glass panel created for the launch event of The Macallan's collectible whisky expression, "Art is the Flower — Charles Rennie Mackintosh." The design draws directly from Mackintosh's iconic Glasgow Style vocabulary: stylized rose blossoms, sweeping curved stems, and bold geometric forms rendered in a rich palette of magenta, teal, olive, and black. Fabricated using traditional lead came technique, the panel was mounted on a freestanding metal frame and displayed under dramatic lighting at the exhibition — a commission where the craft of stained glass honored the legacy of one of Scotland's greatest artistic visionaries.
